Chaser Automotive – Refund & Returns Policy

Overview

At Chaser Automotive, we stand behind the quality of our automotive performance parts. Due to the specialized nature of aftermarket automotive components, please review this policy carefully before placing an order.


Returns Window

Our return policy lasts 30 days from the date of delivery.
If 30 days have passed since your purchase, we cannot offer a refund or exchange.


Return Eligibility

To be eligible for a return, all of the following conditions must be met:

  • Item must be unused, uninstalled, and unmodified
  • Item must be in the same condition it was received
  • Item must be returned in original packaging, including all hardware, instructions, and accessories
  • Item must show no signs of installation, test-fitting, wear, or damage

⚠️ Any item that has been installed, test-fitted, or shows signs of installation is not eligible for return.


Non-Returnable Items

Due to safety concerns, manufacturer restrictions, and the nature of performance parts, the following items are non-returnable:

  • Installed or attempted-to-install parts
  • Electrical components (including ECUs, sensors, wiring harnesses, ignition components)
  • Tuning devices, programmers, and software
  • Custom-made or special-order items
  • Clearance, sale, or discounted items
  • Gift cards
  • Downloadable or digital products

Proof of Purchase

A valid receipt or proof of purchase is required for all return requests.

Please do not send your purchase back to the manufacturer.


Restocking Fee

Approved returns are subject to a 10% restocking fee.
This fee covers inspection, processing, and restocking costs and will be deducted from your refund.


Partial Refunds (If Applicable)

Partial refunds may be granted for:

  • Items returned with missing packaging or accessories
  • Items returned with cosmetic damage
  • Returns approved after 30 days at our discretion

Any item returned in a condition different from how it was shipped, for reasons not due to our error, may receive a partial refund or be denied.


Refunds

Once your return is received and inspected, we will notify you via email regarding approval or rejection.

If approved:

  • Refunds will be issued to the original method of payment
  • Processing typically takes 5–10 business days, depending on your bank or card issuer

Late or Missing Refunds

If you haven’t received your refund:

  1. Check your bank account again
  2. Contact your credit card company
  3. Contact your bank (processing times vary)

Sale Items

All sale, clearance, or discounted items are final sale and non-refundable.


Exchanges

We only replace items if they are defective or damaged upon arrival.

To request an exchange:

  • Email support@chaserautomotive.com
  • Include your order number and clear photos of the issue
  • Return instructions will be provided via email once approved

Gifts

If the item was marked as a gift and shipped directly to you:

  • You will receive store credit for the value of the approved return

If the item was not marked as a gift or shipped to the purchaser first:

  • The refund will be issued to the original purchaser

Return Shipping

  • Customers are responsible for all return shipping costs
  • Shipping costs are non-refundable
  • Return shipping may be deducted from the refund if applicable

For high-value items, we strongly recommend using a trackable shipping service and purchasing shipping insurance.
Chaser Automotive is not responsible for lost or damaged return shipments.

⚠️ Return addresses are provided only after a return request has been approved via email. Unauthorized returns will not be accepted.


Fitment Responsibility

It is the customer’s responsibility to verify vehicle compatibility and fitment prior to purchasing.
Chaser Automotive is not responsible for incorrect fitment or compatibility issues.


Installation Disclaimer

Any part that has been installed, test-fitted, or shows signs of installation is not eligible for return, regardless of mileage or usage time.


Professional Installation Disclaimer

Chaser Automotive strongly recommends professional installation.
We are not responsible for damage caused by improper installation, misuse, or failure to follow manufacturer instructions.


No Liability for Vehicle Damage

Chaser Automotive is not liable for vehicle damage, engine failure, drivetrain damage, or any mechanical issues resulting from the use of aftermarket performance parts.

All performance parts are used at the customer’s own risk.


Chargeback Policy

Customers must contact support@chaserautomotive.com prior to initiating a chargeback.
Chargebacks submitted without first contacting us may result in order cancellation, account suspension, or denial of future purchases.
